Projects by Sarthak Sethi

Info-Ninja

3rd Place, MCP Hackathon (San Francisco). Multi-agent AI for executive competitive intelligence: department-specific analysis, real-time dashboards, and Bright Data MCP scraping across 10+ source types. Redis caching cut cost 90% and ran 600x faster.

GovChat

1st Place, Microsoft Azure Hackathon for Public Sector. RAG and MCP based assistant for government services with location-aware form autofill.

SJFit

2nd Place, Silicon Hacks. MediaPipe pose estimation plus CNNs for joint-angle analysis, with OpenCV real-time feedback. 95% accuracy tracking squats and curls, 20% improvement in form detection.

EmbrAlert

2nd Place, Public Safety Track, SJHacks. Wildfire detection and community alerts for San Jose: real-time risk from weather and air quality, smoke-image RNN prediction, and a multilingual RAG chatbot across 6 languages with voice and text.

AI-CAD

Cursor for architecture: a 3D web app for architectural design via natural language plus daylight simulation. Drag-and-drop blocks, GPT-4 command parsing, grid snapping, and a 50-step undo/redo with sun positioning.

DataPulse

Real-time dashboard aggregating crypto, stocks, weather, and news into one mobile-friendly view, backed by Redis and Supabase.

CluelyClone

A from-scratch recreation of the Cluely desktop AI assistant, built on the open-source Interview Coder base with the extra features needed to match Cluely. The most-starred repo on his GitHub.

Self-Hosted Homelab

A homelab he built and runs himself: a headless Arch Linux (Omarchy) server running 25+ Docker Compose services on an 8TB drive, kept on a private network with nothing exposed to the public internet. It covers media streaming, photo backup, file sync, a password manager, network-wide DNS filtering, uptime and drive-health monitoring with phone alerts, and small apps he wrote for it.

Vertex

A full-stack personal finance dashboard with an AI research agent that pulls real financial statements and analyst estimates, runs DCF valuations, and searches the web, so a question like "Is NVDA overvalued?" gets a grounded answer instead of made-up numbers.

fin

A private, local-first personal finance planner: accounts, transactions, investments, plans, and taxes in one SQLite file on your own machine, driven from a browser, a terminal CLI, or your own AI agent. Runs with zero API keys.

imessage-cli

Revived a 12-year-old iMessage command-line tool so it works again on Apple silicon and current macOS.

Smart Ctrl-F

A Chrome extension that adds semantic find to any page: it extracts the visible text, generates text and regex candidates locally, and can ask an LLM to rank the most relevant passages.

SJSU Study Group

A web app that connects SJSU students into study groups by course, with real-time messaging and availability sharing.

BrainRotWordle

Wordle with a brain-rot twist, built as a quick TypeScript and React side project.

Harmony Health

A hackathon project using the Hume AI API to analyze vocal tone and facial expression, tracking emotional patterns and surfacing wellness insights through a production-ready LLM.
